TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
In response to the news that charities ‘buy’ mailing lists.
Pelican NEVER gives your contact details to anyone nor do we ‘buy’ lists of contacts. Everyone we talk to has ‘touched’ us at some point; from generous donations, attending clinical courses, buying Christmas cards or attending fundraising events.

TWO PELICAN STUDIES RECOGNISED FOR GROUND BREAKING WORK
AT THE BMJ AWARDS
IN LONDON ON MAY 6TH.
Pelican are delighted to announce that two studies supported by the charity won eminent international recognition at the BMJ Awards. Professor Gina Brown (radiologist) and her team at the Royal Marsden Foundation Trust and Hash Ahmed (urologist) and his team at the University College London were both recognised for their outstanding contribution for their work to improve patient care for bowel cancer patients in the UK.
Both studies have changed the clinical treatment for cancer patients around the world and this has directly led to more patients living better lives for longer.
This is a fantastic achievement and we would like to offer our congratulations to everyone who has worked so tirelessly to make a difference for today’s patients.
