Become a Corporate Charity Partner

One of the great privileges of working for a company who is looking to develop a charitable link with a non-profit is being able to give generously to charitable causes that matter to you and your employee’s. So why should your Business support our Charity?

Corporate Identity

Supporting us demonstrates that your brand stands for good ethics, strong principles, ‘giving back’ and trust. It can help to differentiate you from your competition too by boosting your brand image and also by helping you to recruit excellent talent.

Morale

By taking part in fundraising activities, your employees will feel as though they are doing good and participating in meaningful work that gives back without needing to take time away from their hectic home lives and family schedules. Fundraising for us can also be a great morale booster without any need to attend costly away days at training centres.

Networking

When you are involved with us you will gain access to our network which can be beneficial and present new opportunities for projects or joint-working.

Enhanced PR

Sharing stories of your charitable work with us will benefit your company. Media coverage can let the public know what you’re doing as well as reinforce to your employees that they’ve made the right choice to work for you. Charity stories on your website will let visitors know about your work with us and it will show clients that your organisation is committed to charitable causes.

Retention

Employees who are encouraged to take part in fundraising initiatives to raise money for us will naturally feel proud of their efforts and proud of their organisation. This means that they are more likely to stay with your business. Greater loyalty translates into higher productivity and retention of talent thus minimising your recruitment costs.

Engagement

There are benefits that come from personally feeling involved with our charity. The more different ways you can offer your employees to support us, the more likely they are to get behind the partnership and make it a success.

Ways in which you can get involved with us

Corporate donations

Whether you would like to give a one-off donation, fund an entire project or make a regular gift, your company’s support will go towards helping people with bowel cancer to live well for longer.

Gifting or in-kind donations

It’s not only cash donations that make a difference to us, but in-kind donations also play a major role too. You may consider giving us something that we may need, for example, this could be office equipment or legal, accounting or printing services, in effect, any donation that leads to a reduction in our overhead costs would be most welcome.

Charity of the Year partner

Making Pelican your Charity of the Year partner can encourage team building, boost staff morale and demonstrate your company values. Whether it is running marathons or fun runs, climbing mountains, holding an Elvis evening, baking cakes or running a quiz night the key is to working together and having fun. Choose or nominate Pelican Cancer Foundation as your company’s charity partner and we will ensure you are recognised for your generosity, kept updated with our work and invited to attend our events (where appropriate).

Payroll Giving

Payroll giving is a simple, tax-effective way for employees to give directly from their payroll. It’s simple to set up and because all the donations they make are deducted before they pay tax, their donation will be worth more than the amount they see taken off their payroll.

Matched funding

You may decide to match the amount of money your employees have raised, a great way of boosting fundraising!

Give as you Live Online is a free and easy way to raise money for Pelican Cancer Foundation when you shop online with 6,000+ stores. From holidays and travel to clothing and gifts, you can raise hundreds of pounds from your everyday shopping, all at no extra cost to you.
