Join us for an amazing evening of fun and entertainment at the first Pelican Antiques Challenge! Your knowledge of antiques will be tested – do you know what is valuable and what is a fake? Are you an expert and do you believe the experts?

Presented by three familiar Roadshow experts:
Hilary Kay, Mark Poltimore and Cristian Beadman.

Dress: Casual (warm). Tables of 10 – either join a table or bring your own group. Price includes a scrummy supper and a glass of wine. There is a bar available if you wish to purchase more drinks during the evening.

Pelican Christmas Fair – 3rd December 2018

There’s something for everyone at this year’s Christmas Fair! From luxurious goodies and scrumptious Christmas treats, to fun and inexpensive presents.

Whether you are looking for stocking fillers or a special Christmas gift, please join us for a fantastic day of shopping and fundraising.

Location: The Vineyard, Stockcross, Newbury RG20 8JU (3 miles west of Newbury on the B4000 off the A4).

Date: Monday 3rd December 9.30am – 5pm. Entrance: £5 per person (payable on the door).

Festive Fun Run – 16th December 2018

It’s the second year of our Festive Fun Run, so we’re asking hundreds of jolly Santas to once again brave the winter weather and join us for another fun-filled day!

Date: Sunday, December 16, 2018

Place: War Memorial Park, Basingstoke

As part of our 25th anniversary year, we’re also asking runners to help raise funds for us. We are looking for 25 people (can be a team or individual) to commit to raising money in sponsorship by completing the run. You can find out more about this by sending us an email.

There will be a 5km and a 2.5km course and all runners will receive a fab Santa suit to wear around the course and a medal for taking part – all included in the registration fee.

Refreshments will be available, with a free mince pie with every hot drink purchased.

We’ll have some additional fun activities there too – so watch this space for more information to follow shortly! All profits will support Pelican’s work funding clinical research into advancing precision surgery in the treatment of bowel, liver, bladder and prostate cancers.

We believe that in 2018 our 25th year as a charity is going to be our most effective yet. To make this difference we need your help.
